IFB 2022-01 CARTER PARK POOL PLAY ELEMENTS 

ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS 

TO BE RECEIVED ON TUESDAY, FEBRUARY 15, 2022 AT 2:00 P.M. LOCAL TIME 

Sealed bids will be accepted by the Town of Ashland Purchasing Department, 121 Thompson Street, Ashland Virginia 23005 until, but not later than 2:00 p.m. local time Tuesday, February 15, 2022, and then publicly opened and read for the construction of IFB 2022-01 Carter Park Pool Play Elements. The scope of work consists generally of providing the necessary material, labor and equipment for installing a pool slide and other play elements at Carter Park Pool per the documents and the plan sheets provided.  

ALL BIDS WILL BE OPENED AND READ IN THE COUNCIL CHAMBERS OF TOWN HALL ON Tuesday, February 15, 2022, at 2:00 p.m. local time.  

A non-mandatory pre-bid meeting will be held at 1:30 p.m. on February 3, 2022, at the Ashland Town Hall at 121 Thompson Street, Ashland, VA 23005, in the Town Council Chambers.  An optional site visit will follow. 

Notice to proceed for this project is expected to be issued on March 2, 2022.   The Final Completion date for this project is June 14, 2022. 

Bid documents are available for download here at no charge, and may also be picked up at Ashland Town Hall, 121 Thompson St., Ashland, VA 23005, for a $10 fee.
